'Special operations are forces
that fight unconventional battles that ordinary line infantry is incapable of.
It requires a special type of warrior. Special operators in these teams
usually undergo a grueling selection phase followed by intense training.
Missions range from patrolling and sabotage behind enemy lines to training
foreign forces in soldiering and tactics. In addition to their obvious military
value, Special Forces can provide a psychological one as well. The fear of
having such units operating behind their lines can cause the enemy to tie up
large numbers of forces in a counter-guerilla type operation instead of fighting
at the front and adding their strength to the regular forces...' ( Quoted

SPIRITUAL
SPECIAL FORCES
Gideon was special forces.
David was special forces. Moses and Aaron were special forces. Each
of these biblical warriors engaged the enemy in an unconventional manner.
Gideon's army was massively outnumbered and out gunned yet prevailed.
David refused the proven weapons of battle and chose his own. Moses and
Aaron were on a special ops assignment that took them deep into enemy territory.
Their mission in military terms was an "extraction." Israel were
POW's. Prisoner's of War. We have many of these today, captured by
the enemy and held prisoner on the streets, in bars and taverns, even in prison
houses and jails. Isaiah saw this challenge, "But this is a people
robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in
prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivers; for a spoil, and none
says, "Restore!"

The Lord is again raising up
"Special Forces" that will invade and extract His MIA's (Missing in
Action) and POW'S. They will be tough and radically different from the
status quo in Christianity. Most will be unaccepted in the contemporary
army yet are highly qualified to fulfill the mission the Lord has for them.
David's mighty men were a Special Forces troop. They were obviously not
fit for King Saul's army, though their apparent skill in battle and unique
abilities qualified them for David's regiment. There résumé's read
something like this: "And every one that was in distress, and every one
that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves to
him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four
hundred men." (1 Sam 22:2).
OPERATION
HARVEST
These Spiritual Special Forces
are being raised up today for a highly critical assignment: OPERATION HARVEST.
God is sending them deep into enemy territory, they are His Special Ops.
Men and women that "endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus
Christ..." (2 Tim 2:3). They have been intensely trained for
years for this exact moment in history. Most of them will never be
recognized or even remembered in this life, but their heroics and actions will
set the stage for the coming of Christ. Their objective is simply this:
"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a
witness to all nations; and then shall the end come." (Matt 24:14).
These end time Special Forces
have been raised up to combat the evolved tactics and strategies of the enemy.
They do not use proven methods or contemporary weapons to tear down these
spiritual strongholds that hold captive entire nations. Their methods will
be questioned, scrutinized, even despised by the rest of the army. None
the less these Special Forces know their objective and will achieve it no matter
the cost. They are even now being recruited from churches, ministries, the
streets, prisons, brothels, and every other dark corner of existence.
Their life experiences and conquering spirits have qualified them. Like
Jonah, they will be ejected back on the shores of the original mission:
OPERATION HARVEST.
DELTA FORCE
'The SFOD-Delta unit were
created in secrecy. The Delta was intended as a overseas Counter-terrorist unit
specialized in Hostage rescue, barricade operations and specialized
reconnaissance. The composition and strength of Delta Force are closely
guarded secrets. The US still refuse it's existence. Delta force's main
function is as a hostages rescue unit. The recruits for Delta Force are
volunteers mainly from the 82nd Airborne, Special Force Green Berets and the
Rangers. They are trained in all aspects of Counter-terrorism, and they are said
to be the world's best specialists in CQB (Close Quarters Battle).'

Even in the natural we are
facing an extreme change in our approach to war. This radical change in
modern day warfare has demanded a change in its warriors and their training.
Delta Force is the epitome of this change. A clandestine group of highly
skilled soldiers whose primary purpose is to combat terrorism and hostage
rescue. If we are to face this new threat that the enemy is posing
we must begin to train our soldiers differently. Many of the old methods
of evangelism, church planting, and training are no longer effective. Our
inner-cities and market places demand a much different warrior. One that
can adapt instantly to his or her surroundings, can meld into the enemies camp
even as the spies did in Joshua, and utilize tactics and strategies that have
never been attempted before. These new strategies will literally topple
regional and national strongholds and liberate entire cities.
Philip was Delta Force. In
Acts chp. 8 Philip broke away from conventional thinking and methods and applied
a strategy never seen before in that modern army of Christians. He went to
Samaria. Samaria was the seat of the enemies power and presence in the
region. This one lone warrior engaged the principalities and powers over
this region and an entire city was liberated from their captivity.
Counter-terrorist and Hostage rescue. This new breed of soldier will not
fear the awesome odds against them. They will see the objective and
apprehend it. They will defy contemporary thinking and traditional methods
that would never allow such radical maneuvers. They will take cities.
"And there was great joy in that city..." (Acts 8:8).
BLACK HAWK DOWN
'Regardless of their military or
psychological effect, special forces units require more support than
conventional units. Because they are traveling in smaller teams, they require
air support to survive if caught by a larger unit they can't break free from.
Some missions require extra planning and intelligence. The higher state of
readiness these units posses call for an aggressive training regiment that is
naturally more expensive than a peace-time infantry battalion.' (www.specwarnet.com).
Air support or strategic
intercession will be imperative though to the Special Forces success. This
was a key in the unsuccessful Delta Force mission in Mogadishu, Somalia on Oct.
3, 1993. They assaulted different safe houses containing high-ranking
members of warring clans and took them prisoner. Unfortunately, during their
last mission two of the support helicopters from the 160th
SOAR were shot down. Two Delta operators were killed defending the survivors
of the second crash, and at least one was killed in an on-foot extraction
through a city populated with locals riled up against the Americans. Air
support is critical to the success or failure of each mission.
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall
mount up with wings as eagles..." (Isa 40:31). Intercession will be
the wings of the Special Forces. It will enable them to go into places
previously impenetrable. Delta Force is even now being equipped and
deployed for special service and commission. A new approach in training is
inevitable. To win the battles that confront us and the changing battle
fields we must allow for this new breed to emerge. They are in the cave of
Adullum, training, preparing, and receiving new orders from Headquarters.
They are even now in a preparatory position to launch out into strategic places
around the globe to fulfill this great campaign: OPERATION HARVEST.
SPECIAL FORCES PART 2 -
COUNTER TERRORISM

have existed in one form or another since the 1920's, when Colombia formed a
team to free hijacks passenger planes. But the modern form of counter-terrorism
got its start after Palestine terrorists hijacked an El Al B-707 in 1968. Most
countries lacked any counter-terrorism (CT) ability until after the 1972 Munich
Olympics, in which 11 Israeli athletes were killed by members of the Black
September terrorist group. Since that time, innocent civilians have continued to
be targets for groups seeking political action or power. Terrorists find it
easier and more productive to plant a big bomb and blow up an entire
neighborhood rather than trying to pinpoint and surgically remove an enemy.'

COUNTER-TERRORISM: GOD'S NEW BREED OF MINISTRIES
Because of the hybrid and evolved works of the enemy a new form of spiritual
warfare and ministry is emerging from the shadows of conventional Christianity.
They will be much like the spies that infiltrated Jericho in the book of Joshua.
Their mission is simple; come in covertly and gather information that will bring
down the stronghold and fortified walls of the enemy in regions and cities. They
will move and operate differently than anything that we have seen thus far. They
will not be able to publish and parade their ministries or strategies for the
world to see. They will not be public personalities but rather
"top-secret" operatives with unconventional and unorthodox methods to
attain that particular mission and secure victory. Their maneuvers and campaigns
will often go unnoticed but will lay the ground work for future public
ministries to take the ground that they have captured. These Spiritual Special
Forces are critical for the mass army to march.

God is raising up from the ashes of modern religion Counter-Terrorism teams that
will look and feel different than the status quo. They will not walk in an
arrogance but rather a humility that is required to succeed on such dangerous
assignments. They will not operate in large groups but rather small and
streamlined numbers to avoid detection from the enemy that they are invading.
Elijah and Elisha was a prototype of a Counter-Terrorism team. The hundred
prophets that were hidden 50 to a cave also are symbolic of the Spiritual
Special Forces that have been in hiding and training to this very hour.
"For so it was, while Jezebel massacred the prophets of the LORD, that
Obadiah had taken one hundred prophets and hidden them, fifty to a cave, and had
fed them with bread and water..." (I King 18:4). They are not
"elite" but only in hiding for covert assignments and special
missions. Elijah infiltrated the ranks of the "terrorists" or false
prophets in his day and brought the fire of God down upon them. They were taken
out in one day. That is the epitome of the Spiritual Special Forces. They will
invade certain regions and cities and eliminate enemy resistance immediately
allowing the larger body of the army to finally enter there. Areas that have
been governed for years by evil and resisted the local church will suddenly be
open for evangelism and outreach. The mission of these Spiritual Special Forces
is critical to end-time harvest and revival. They are in hiding and training
today and are about to be released. Many are already in the frontlines of modern
ministry but are being called back to receive new orders and strategies.
THE RANGER CREED
QUOTE: 'The US Army Rangers are America's elite Rapid Deployment Force. They
provide the American armed forces a cohesive fighting unit that can be moved to
anywhere in the world in 18 hours. One Ranger Battalion is on call for
deployment 24 hours a day. The Rangers are capable of infantry assaults as well
as some special operations into varied terrain and climates. The Ranger
specialty is airport seizure (which they preformed in Grenada and Panama). Some
Rangers also undergo SCUBA and combat swimmer training, while some trained in
HALO or High Altitude Low Opening parachuting. Each Battalion in the 75th Ranger
Regiment has a SCUBA, HALO, and Deep Recon platoon trained to complete more
special operation type missions. This platoon is attached to the HHQ Training is
arduous and specialized; officers train alongside the men and regularly work

The Ranger's live by a special creed that is the their common bond that bring
them to a level of unity that is imperative to succeed. They put it this way,
"Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country I shall defeat them on
the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might.
Surrender is not a Ranger word, I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into
the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my
country..." This level of commitment is necessary to achieve victory on the
level of warfare they are engaged in. God is going to insure a greater measure
of unity and networking in these coming days than what we ever thought was
possible. It will be critical to the success and survival of the ministries and
teams He is deploying into these volatile and dangerous territories.
.."can be moved to anywhere in the world in 18 hours..." This Rapid
Deployment Force will be a very difficult assault for the enemy to handle.
Spiritual Special Forces are not bound by any commitments except the mission
they are on. They are able by their lifestyles and oath of a "Ranger",
to move at any given second to where the need arises. This is contrary to most
ministries today that are bound to schedules and calendars. These new
commissioning and directives will require a greater flexibility than we have
ever exercised before in ministry. This new breed of warrior will know this
lifestyle well. These teams will literally define the words, RAPID DEPLOYMENT
FORCE. That is their identity in the Spiritual realm. They will be able to be
deployed into enemy territory to set the captives free with stunning speed. One
day we can be in New York, the next in Thailand. We are the RAPID DEPLOYMENT
FORCE.
"Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to
the Ranger objective and complete the mission though I be the lone
survivor." Another dynamic of the Ranger's Creed. Elijah and Moses knew
this well. No matter the difficulty of their assignment and who was left to
fight, they continued. Paul once reported from the frontlines, "At my first
answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not
be laid to their charge..." (2 Tim 4:16). Paul was abandoned by his team in
the heat of battle but the Lord stood with him to bring about the victory. Paul
was special forces. Are you? The training or "trials" that we have
been made to endure are only the preresiquite to this Spiritual Special Forces
recruitment. This year many of you will receive special missions and orders from
"Headquarters" and will begin to engage the enemy. The result will be
the liberation of your city and region.
A SPIRITUAL "DRAFT"
We are in the midst of a "spiritual draft." The time to be recruited,
where the choice of service was up to us is over. God is "drafting"
his end time warriors as in the book of Joel: "Proclaim ye this among the
Gentiles; Prepare for war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw
near; let them come up..." (Joel 3:9). There is a "coming up"
occurring in the Kingdom of God. Many in the back-drop of modern Christianity
are being called to the front-lines, rising in spiritual rank and authority
sometimes over night. "Coming up" in glory and revelation, seeing the
revealed heart of the Father for the lost and dead of the world and yet still
predestined to be saved. God is waking up His mighty ones. They can not slumber
to the hypnotic tones of religion any longer, a massive equipping is under way.
The "officers" are passing through the camp crying
"PREPARE". (Josh. 1:11).
The first draft in America was during the Civil war. Freedom from slavery was
the cry then, and freedom from spiritual slavery is the cry now. God is setting
the captives free within the confines of religion and the world. We are facing
an epic "Civil War" again as the battle lines are drawn in the sands
of time. Which side will we be found standing on? Freedom or slavery? This year
(2003) will determine for many which side they are on. Are they "freedom
fighters"? Fighting for the freedom of their cities and streets? Or rather
are they reinforcing the slavery and bondage that grips the heart of our land?
If we stay stationary doing nothing then we are enslaved ourselves in need of
deliverance. We must begin to march and re-possess the land.
